Trail Running calendar near Denbigh 2026-2027

A six day, 380 km mountain ultra across Wales with mandatory navigation, GPS tracking and overnight camps along a single routed course.

Enjoy a Peak District fell race at Oxspring Playing Field, a punchy 6.2 km course with 190 m of ascent through scenic terrain. On the day entries welcome for a modest fee and the event is part of an eight race series.

An 8 km mountain race over the three peaks of the Eifl near Pwllheli with about 490 m of ascent. Main race for over 16s with entry on the day £10; junior races are held with a £3 entry.

A partly marked fell race from the Raven Inn, covering 11.25 km with 445 m ascent. Day-entry only at £5, minimum age over 18, and participants should allow about 15 minutes to walk to the start.

Alton Trail Run on 12 September 2026 features a mainly off‑road 10 km trail through Dimmingsdale plus a 2 mile fun run, with medals for all finishers.

A fully marked 4 mile loop around Ilam with steep climbs, a river crossing and three summits, licensed by the Fell Runners Association and open to runners aged 18 and over.
