Born Survivor: Lancashire takes place in Gisburn, Ribble Valley Lancashire (BB7 4LH) on Saturday 12 September 2026. The event is run by Born Survivor Events and is based on military-style obstacle course formats designed and delivered by Royal Marines Commandos. Participation is for ages 16 and over; under 18s must show proof of age.

The event offers multiple race formats:

  • Classic 12 km: 30 military grade obstacles.
  • Rookie 6 km: 20 military grade obstacles.
  • Elite Squadron 12 km: competitive first wave race with prizes for first, second and third places for men and women.

Participant provisions and on-site services listed for the event include a dog tag finisher medal, finisher T-shirt, battle rag, temporary body tattoo, free Erdinger Alkoholfrei isotonic drink, water stops, changing tents, bag/phone/key drop (with a suggested £3 donation to Unique Kidz), food stalls, live music and a Survivor Stripes bar. Professional OCR photographers are on site; professional photos are available for an extra charge. Spectators are admitted free but parking charges apply; stated parking fees are £8 per car, £15 per mini bus and £30 per coach. Trail runs nearby

A club-organised 7 mile trail race around Trawden, passing the foothills of Boulsworth and through Wycollar. The course is about 11.3 km with 450 ft of ascent and is held at Trawden Recreation Ground under UK Athletics rules; entry £10.

The Tor Mile is a fell running event organised by Ramsbottom Running Club on Monday 29 June 2026 in Helmshore. It features a junior race and the Tor Mile Fell Race with registration at The Loom Cafe & Bar.

Cragg Vale on 1 July 2026 is a 4 miles (6.4 km) fell race with 244 m of climb run from the village near Cragg Vale Church. Entry on the day is £8 cash and registration and refreshments are based at Cragg Church.

A 10.5 km fell race to the summit of Whernside with 468 m of ascent, starting near Ribblehead Viaduct and finishing by The Station Inn in Ribblehead. The race follows FRA rules and requires mandatory safety kit and an age minimum of 18.
