She Strides Metric Marathon is a trail race held in Hebden Bridge on 18 July 2026. The distance is 26 km. Registration and the finish are at The Excited Goat coffee lounge on Crown Street, Hebden Bridge, HX7 8EH. The minimum age to enter is 16. Entry fee is £35. All finishers receive a medal.

Course and facilities

The route is an out-and-back that starts in the centre of Hebden Bridge. Runners follow a steep climb onto trail, then a relatively flat section across the moor past Stoodley Pike. Terrain includes sandy and rocky trails and sections with stone slabs, and the route passes reservoirs before reaching the turnaround at the White House pub car park. The return follows the same route, with a downhill into the finish.

The course is marked with flags and includes a tail runner and a halfway checkpoint. Marshals are positioned along the route. There is a water station at the turnaround and at the finish offering water and squash. A secure baggage store is available.
