A 24 mile fell run and challenge walk through Swaledale on 13 June 2026, organised by Swaledale Outdoor Club. Competitors must navigate the route themselves and finish within 10 hours; minimum age 14.
Approximately 12k mainly off road at Rother Valley Country Park with a signed course and marshals. Finishers receive a mug and goody bag and there will be tea, coffee and plenty of cakes.

On 18 June 2026 the Beamsley Beacon race covers 5.5 miles with about 1100 ft of climb, starting at St Peters Church Hall in Addingham and reaching the stone cairn at the Beacon. Entry is £5 and parking next to the hall is limited.
