Hangover Hike

The 20th Hangover Hike takes place on Monday 1st January 2027 with start and finish at The Leggers Inn, Mill Street, Dewsbury, West Yorkshire WF12 9BD (GR SE249207). The event offers three circular route options that share a main refreshment checkpoint, allowing participants to shorten or lengthen their walk or run on the day.

Route descriptions, maps and GPX files are available to download. Both LDWA and non LDWA walkers and runners may take part.

Entry is by advance registration only through SiEntries. Advance fees are £12.00 for LDWA members and £14.00 for non LDWA participants. Entry on the day may be available at a higher fee of £20.00. The organiser provides tea and toast at registration, cold drinks and snacks at checkpoints, and a finisher certificate. Participants are asked to bring their own mug for use on the event.

Participants with dietary conditions or food allergies must identify their own needs and take precautions. The organiser states it cannot confirm that supplied food has not been in contact with allergens during manufacture or preparation.
