Grim Christmas Cracker Day 1, Rodley
Grim Christmas Cracker Day 1 is an out-and-back trail race hosted by Its Grim Up North Running at Rodley Cricket Club, Canal Bank Sports Ground, Moss Bridge Road, Rodley, Leeds LS13 1RL. The course follows the Leeds & Liverpool Canal on good, flat(ish) trail terrain and is fully marshalled and clearly signed. The event is Trail Running Association licensed under UKA rules.
Race HQ aims for a festive atmosphere with music, food, decorations, bespoke finisher medals, and festive treats. Feed and drink stations are provided at approximately every 3 miles; the event is cup-less, so participants should bring a reusable cup or bottle. Parking at the cricket club is available for £5 cash, which goes to the club funds. There are bus links from Leeds, Keighley, Shipley, Bingley, and Bradford, and car sharing is encouraged.

Safety and race operations notes include a ban on large over-ear headphones; bone-conducting or single in-ear use is allowed. Unmarshalled road crossings require care and injured or retiring runners should inform the nearest marshal. Transfers and deferrals can be self-served online and changes on race day may incur a £5 admin fee.
