Classic Lake District fell race from Howtown Bobbin Mill, testing runners over 13.3 miles with about 1400 m of climb across rugged terrain. Entry is on the day for £8 and limited to 100 starters so arrive early.

Trail running around Coniston Water with marathon, half marathon, a new 10k and a new 5k. Fully marked, marshalled courses, feed stations and an event village at Coniston Sports and Social Centre.

The Edenfield Fell Race is a 10.2 km BM category event with 396m of climb, starting from the Edenfield Cricket Club. Entry is on the day only. Limited parking is available, so carpooling is encouraged.

Tackle the Coppice fell race in Accrington on Tue 9 Jun 2026, a spirited 6.6 km course with 310 m of climb starting from the Whitakers Arms. Day entry only means it is ideal for last minute plans and teams are welcome.

Tackle the Boar's Head fell race in the Peak District on Wed 10 Jun 2026. This BM 8 mile course climbs 402 m from the Boar's Head Hotel, welcomes teams and on the day entries for £5; entrants must be 18 or older.

Take on the Mike Mallen Memorial Round Latrigg, a classic 5 mile fell race from Fitz Park in Keswick with scenic trails and friendly marshals. Day entry available for ages 16 plus and all funds raised go to charity.

A Category B short fell race in Horwich around Two Lads, listed as 8.4 km (5 miles) with 274 m ascent; registration and presentation are at The Ale House and prizes include a £50 course-record cash award.

A volunteer-run mountain running and walking event in Kirkby Stephen, Cumbria offering distances from 5k to an Ultra plus a mountain marathon, a festival-style Basecamp and fundraising for local charities.
