Take on the classic Latrigg fell race in Keswick, Lake District on 13 May 2026, a short but steep 3 mile climb with great views. Entry is available on the day for a small fee on a fully flagged route for runners aged 13 and up.

Tackle the Caw fell race in the Lake District on Wednesday 13 May 2026, 9.3 km with 550 m climb from Broughton Mills. Day of race entry, great views and a classic fell running challenge for all abilities.

Experience a scenic 5k multi terrain trail race through the paths of the Tame Valley. This two lap course features riverside bridleways and woodland trails for a unique off road running experience near Hyde.

Old County Tops is a Lake District fell race at New Dungeon Ghyll in Great Langdale on 16 May 2026. Expect a long, demanding 59 km mountain course with 3050 m of climb, raced in pairs for a thrilling test of endurance and navigation.

A Royal Marines designed obstacle course in Cheshire on 16 May 2026 with 6K and 10K routes, Classic and Rookie formats, finisher items and an Event Village with food and music. An Elite Squadron offers chip timing and prizes.

A 50 mile team relay for four runners from Sedgwick to Lea Town following the Lancaster Canal, with seven checkpoints, chip timing, on-course medical support and mandatory safety kit.

The Holcombe 10 offers *10K* and *10 Mile* trail routes across Holcombe Moor, passing Peel Tower and Redisher Woods. Water stations are at Peel Tower and the National Trust ranger base and proceeds support The Sunnywood Project.

Tackle a steep 3 km fell race up Shutlingsloe in the Peak District on Sun 17 May 2026 with 270 m of ascent for a short punchy challenge. On the day entry is available and the race is part of the Wildboarclough fete.

A MapRun navigation event at Elterwater Hostel on 17 May 2026 in the Lake District. Category O with pre entry and on the day fees; minimum age 14 and 14 to 17 year olds must be accompanied by an adult.

A 5k obstacle event at Birkenhead Park on 17 May 2026 where participants climb, crawl and slide over grass and tarmac. Entries support Cancer Research UK fundraising, have a minimum target of £50 and require participants to be 13 or older.

A 3.5 mile fell race near Clitheroe with 1247 ft of ascent, on the partially marked Mearley Clough route. Entry on the day includes a pasta supper and prize vouchers, and under 18s need parental consent.

A one-lap, approximately 10 km trail race at Quarry Bank Mill on 19 May 2026. The route mixes trail, grass, tarmac, gravel and steps and includes a charity contribution for tree planting.

A hill trail event in Cockermouth featuring a 6 km multi terrain adult race with a timed summit contest and separate junior races with medals sponsored by Holmen. The event is chip timed and has limited parking.

A five race trail series at Wirral Country Park held on the third Tuesday of each month April to August. Races are about 8K, open to runners aged 16 and over, with per race and series entry options and series awards.

A short, sharp fell race over 3 miles with 820 ft of ascent around Latterbarrow. The event takes place in May with junior and senior starts. Entry is available on the day.

A 6 mile out and back trail race in Rivington on 20 May 2026, organised by Horwich RMI Harriers. Tickets listed at £11.60 with an admin fee noted and day entries possible for an extra £2.
