Really Wild Boar
Really Wild Boar is a fell race scheduled for Saturday 5 December 2026 in the York. Dales region. The course runs from Street on the A683 Sedbergh/Kirkby Stephen road (CA17 4LL), grid reference NY 7430 0150, and covers 9 km (about 5.6 miles) with approximately 450 m of ascent.
The event is classified as Category AS and records are noted for the course: a male best of 00:37:47 and a female best of 00:46:47, both set in 2010. Skills listed for the race are ER, LK and NS. The minimum age for entry is 18 and there are no junior races.
Entry is only on the day; pre-entry is not available. The on-the-day fee is £10, and the entry fee includes soup and a roll served at the Fat Lamb Inn. Registration and the prize presentation take place at the Fat Lamb Country Inn. Parking at the Fat Lamb is limited; participants are asked to use the Street common area near the race start.
