Inflatable 5K Bakewell is an inflatable obstacle course event taking place in Bakewell, Derbyshire on Saturday 12th September 2026. The course uses giant inflatable obstacles, slides and tunnels arranged on a 2.5 km lap that repeats for longer distances. The event includes music zones, event photography, medical cover, a clearly marked route and a midway water station.
Distances available:
- 2.5k: one lap, 15 inflatable obstacles.
- 5k: two laps, 30 inflatable obstacles.
- 10k: four laps, 60 inflatable obstacles.
- 15k: six laps, 90 inflatable obstacles.
All finishers receive a medal and a goodie bag. The event is non-timed and offers a free spectators area. Children aged 5 to 15 must take part with a paying adult at a ratio of three children to one adult. Volunteers receive a free run entry and an official T-shirt.
Practical information includes no on-site parking with public car parks nearby, toilets at the venue, a bag drop service charged at £3.00 per bag with size restrictions and bag searches for safety, and a ban on dogs.
