Alderley Park Trail 5 Mile - 21 July 2026

Alderley Park Trail 5 Mile is a trail race held within the grounds of Alderley Park, Nether Alderley (postcode SK10 4TG). The course is approximately five miles and is run as two laps. The route passes woodland, an onsite lake, a working farm and the parkland surrounding the Glasshouse building, which is the start location.

The event is licensed by TRA and is run under UKA Athletics rules. Chip timing is used and all finishers receive a commemorative technical finisher t-shirt. On-site facilities listed for the event include first aid, toilets, a drinks station at the finish, free parking at Race HQ and free baggage storage. Bike storage is available at Alderley Park.

Entries open on 2 March 2026 and will close either when the entry limit is reached or at midnight the night before the race. There are no entries on the day and no official waiting list once the race sells out. Minimum age for entry is 16 years. Entry fees are shown for club and non-club runners.

Prizes are awarded to the top three male and female finishers by gun time. Veteran prizes cover age groups from V35 to V85+ in five year increments and the first U20; veterans’ prizes are distributed by post and determined by chip times.

The organiser provides an option to transfer an entry to another person or to convert to a virtual entry within one month of race day. Results are published immediately on the event platform and entrants who provide a mobile number may receive an SMS with their finish time. The Totley AC Race Series will take place in Longshaw from Sunday 25 January 2026 to Sunday 6 September 2026.

A night score event at The Railway Inn in Marple on Tuesday 27th January. Choose a 40, 60 or 75 minute course, use MapRun or a paper backup, and note late entries are not guaranteed a map.

Timed lap based event on a flat 5.3 km riverside out and back near Hardy Farm in Manchester, with flexible distances from 5 km to ultra and a seven hour time limit. Medal free entry option and a charity donation per finisher.

Take on the Dovedale Big Daddy on 1 February 2026, an AL fell race in the Peak District covering 20.4 km with 1370 m ascent and nine steep climbs through the Manifold and Dovedale valleys. Entries close 29 January and are limited to 250.
