Stoke On Trent Pretty Muddy 5k

The event is the Pretty Muddy 5k at Central Forest Park in Stoke On Trent on Sunday 26 July 2026. The venue address is Chell Street, Stoke On Trent, ST1 6BD. The start and finish are on the grass area by the lake and Visitors Centre.

The course follows a mixture of grass, woodland and tarmacked paths and includes obstacle elements where participants climb, crawl and slide. Wave start times are staggered every 15 minutes for safety. Participants must be 13 years of age or older to take part in this event; there are separate Pretty Muddy Kids events for younger children.

On-site facilities listed for the event include refreshments and toilets. The event is not suitable for wheelchair users and is not suitable for pushchairs. Dogs are not allowed. Bag drop and showers are not available. Blue badge parking and volunteer parking are available at the Central Forest Park car park; other event parking is directed to nearby Hanley city centre car parks. There are no electric vehicle charging points and cycling storage is limited.

Entry fees and fundraising are stated: adult entry £22.49, child entry £12.00, with a minimum fundraising target of £50.00. Registered participants receive a fundraising pack, a customisable back sign, training plans and support, access to an online community and a Race for Life medal on completion. Trail runs nearby

A hilly five mile trail and fell race from Rainow on the edge of the Peak District, taking in White Nancy and the Kerridge ridge. The event is pre-entry only, serves teas and cakes after the race, and donates proceeds to local charities.

A summer evening charity run at Marbury Park with a 5k adult race and 1k kids' fun run, plus BBQ, bar, cake stall and music. Proceeds go to The Stroke Association and all finishers receive a medal.

Take on The Tour of Bradwell The Other Half, a challenging fell race in the Peak District starting and finishing at Bradwell Sports Club. Expect a long high ground route with big climbs and a lively mass start atmosphere.

Join the Cressbrook Crawl in the Peak District on Sat 9 May 2026. A scenic but testing 10.5 km trail with 400 m of climb starting and finishing at The Cressbrook Club. Pre entry is required.
