Stoke On Trent Pretty Muddy 5k

The Stoke On Trent Pretty Muddy 5k is an obstacle course event organised by Cancer Research UK at Central Forest Park, Chell Street, Stoke On Trent ST1 6BD. The event involves climbing, crawling and sliding around a muddy course and raises money for cancer research.

The start and finish are on the grass area by the lake and Visitors Centre. The course runs on a mixture of grass, woodland and tarmacked paths. A course map is provided but may be subject to change. Start times are staggered in waves every 15 minutes and groups should select the same wave.

Participants must be 13 years of age or older. Marshals are available on course and participants may skip obstacles if needed. People with pre existing medical conditions are advised to seek their doctor's advice before taking part.

On site facilities include refreshments and toilets. Dogs are not allowed. The event is not suitable for wheelchair users and is not suitable for pushchairs. Bag drop and showers are not available. Blue badge parking is available at the venue; general event parking is directed to Hanley City Centre car parks Birch Terrace, Hope Street or Hunchback Street. Drop off is available at the Central Forest Park entrance. Electric vehicle charging is not available and cycle parking is limited.

A fell race in Edale on 14 June 2026 covering 7.6 km with 402 m of ascent. Registration is at Edale Village Hall and the entry fee includes access to Edale Country Day; entries close 12 June 2026.

A community 10k trail run from Kickback Coffee in Macclesfield with free coffee on arrival. The social route follows the Gritstone Trail, includes stiles and a steady climb, offers wide views, and follows a Trash Free Trails approach.

Roy Castle Challenge Chillington 2026 has open registration across all available categories and provides downloadable receipts plus basic event information such as race location, dorsal collecting address, return policy and rules.

A Peak District fell race on 16 June 2026 covering 6.8 km with 305 m of climb around Lea Green, Matlock. Entry on the day is available for £7 and juniors may run free with the main race.
