Stoke On Trent Pretty Muddy 5k

The event is a Pretty Muddy 5k obstacle course held at Central Forest Park, Chell Street, Stoke On Trent ST1 6BD. The start and finish are on the grass area by the lake and Visitors Centre. The course runs on a mixture of grass, woodland and tarmacked paths.

Entry fees are listed as Adults £22.49 and Children £12.00. The minimum fundraising target is £50. Participants must be 13 years of age or older. Wave start times are staggered every 15 minutes and groups should register for the same wave time.

On-site facilities include refreshments and toilets. Dogs are not allowed. The event is not suitable for wheelchair users and is not suitable for pushchairs. Sunflower wristbands will be available at the enquiries marquee and Event Managers are trained Dementia Friends. A QR code will be available on the main event site to access British Sign Language stage content.

Travel information and parking guidance are provided by the organiser. Blue badge and volunteer parking are directed to Central Forest Park car park; general parking is signposted to Hanley City Centre car parks Birch Terrace, Hope Street or Hunchback Street. Drop off access is via the Central Forest Park entrance off Chell Street. Various bus routes serve Chell Street and Hanley Bus Station is around a 15 minute walk. Stoke Station is the closest train station, approximately a 10 minute car journey. Cycling parking is limited and electric vehicle charging points are not available.

A multi-distance run along a disused railway between Ironbridge and Bridgnorth, offering distances from 9 miles to 37 miles with 9.4 mile laps and aid stations every 4.7 miles.

A 5 mile multi-terrain race around Alderley Edge and Hare Hill, run to a traditional woodland and field route with a mixed-gender team competition and charity proceeds.

A Category CS fell race at Stoney Middleton Playing Field with an 8.5 km route and 308 m of ascent. The course includes climbs on High Street and Longstone Edge and finishes with prize presentation and a beer and BBQ on the field.

About 10 km of trails around rivers and meadows followed by family-style pasta and ice cream in Little Scarfs courtyard in Stockport.
