Trail Running Calendar West Midlands (England) 2026-2027

A backyard ultra at Far Coley Farm on 29 May 2026 where runners complete a 4.167 mile loop every hour until one runner remains. The event features a race village, limited on site accommodation and basic recovery facilities.

A new 2026 route through Telford covering a pre-marked 50 miles course that visits Ironbridge and the Wrekin. Four checkpoints supply food and drinks, mandatory kit is required and there is a 9PM cut off.

03 June 2026 at Kinver Edge, a 10 km trail run over two laps on local tracks with varied climbs. Canicross is permitted and advance entries cost £10, with limited places and series entry open until 1 May 2026.

A 6 km fell race near Pontesbury on 3 June 2026 with 354 m of ascent, organised by Mercia Fell Runners. Entry is available by pre-entry or on the day and a junior race takes place earlier the same evening.

A four-race summer cross country series in Herefordshire and nearby venues from 3 June to 15 July 2026, with events at Treworgan Farm, Shobdon Woods, Bearwood Farm and Newton Court. Entry is limited to eligible first claim club members.

A multi-distance fundraiser at TF4 3HZ with 8 mile laps that form 16 mile and marathon options, a mixed paths-and-tracks route through the Valley of Ironbridge, and a playful fancy dress tradition. Entry fees are listed from £30 to £42.

The National Forest Way Ultra will take place in Burton upon Trent on Saturday 6 June 2026.

MacTuffX in Sutton Coldfield on 6 June 2026 combines ten Xercises and running across Solo, Doubles and Relay formats, with a LITE weight option and age requirement of 18 or over.

Take on the Passing Clouds fell race in the Peak District on Sun 7 Jun 2026, a scenic but testing 15.7 km trail with 565 m of climb around Tittesworth Reservoir. Entry on the day from £9 for members, parking charges apply.

Experience a 10k run through the National Trust Brockhampton Estate. This limited entry event features a hilly course with views and welcomes cani cross participants.

Join the Calton Crawl on Tue 9 Jun 2026 in the Peak District for an energetic 8.5 km trail run with 244 m of climb, offering great views and a proper challenge. Friendly village hall base and day entries welcome for a low cost event.

A multi terrain 11.2 km race and a chip timed family fun run at Gnosall Family Sports Club on 13 June 2026. The course follows canal towpath, farmland, woodland and a boardwalk and includes technical shirts, medals and official timing.

A point-to-point 15 mile trail race along the Offa's Dyke footpath between Hay-on-Wye and Kington with three water stations, relay options at mid-race handover points, and age-group prizes.

A muddy 5k obstacle course at Sandwell Valley Country Park organised by Cancer Research UK, with wave starts, on-course obstacles and a finishers medal. Entry fees and a minimum fundraising target apply; participants must be 13 or older.

An evening trail run at Bodenham Arboretum on 13 June 2026 offering 5 km and 10 km options; mixed-terrain routes, online-only entry with limited places, and funds raised for local charity and scout group support.

Rodney's Pillar is a provisional 5.2 km race on 17 June 2026 with 280 m of ascent. Entry is by pre-entry or on the day with fees of £7 pre-entry and £10 on-the-day.

An evening 10 km trail race around the high points of Milford and Brocton on Cannock Chase. The course is self navigation with route arrows and a suggested GPX file; entry is £10 and any profits go to Muscular Dystrophy.

A Malvern Hills event on 20 June 2026 from Colwall Village Hall offering 27 miles (about 5000ft ascent) or 15 miles on tracks and paths, with checkpoints, snacks and a hot finish meal; entries open Oct 31 2025.

A self-navigating trail event on 20 June 2026, finishing at Ludlow Castle, offering a ~30 mile ultra and a ~14 mile half across mixed terrain in the Marches of England.

An evening trail race in The Valley, Evesham on 24 June 2026 featuring a two-lap **9km** country park route, canicross permitted, limited places, listed entry fees, and no refunds or transfers for the series.
