11 Pipers Piping

The 11 Pipers Piping is part of a 12 days of Christmas series held at Pengethley Manor, Ross-on-Wye (what3words physical.growth.shelf). Participants choose from several distances and have a seven hour limit to complete their chosen distance. Each lap of the course is 2.5 km and the 5 km option is two laps.

The course is offroad and contained within the grounds of Pengethley Manor. The route includes a hill on each lap and a series of climbs and descents through two vineyards. The organisers describe the route as tough and suitable for both walkers and runners.

Distances available:

  • 5k (2 laps of 2.5 km)
  • 10k
  • Half Marathon
  • Marathon
  • Ultra

Entries can be made as an in-person event or as a virtual entry to be completed anywhere, with date flexibility. Race and virtual medals are the same type and each day in the series has a unique medal. Virtual entries can be verified through the organiser’s Strava club or by submitting proof such as a device photo; medals are posted after verification and international postage incurs an additional cost. Entry fees are non refundable. A charity entry option is available at a reduced fee subject to a fundraising requirement. Personal cancellation insurance and a deferral option for a fee are offered under the organiser’s terms and conditions. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
