The course distance is 3.50 miles / 5.60 km with approximately 800 feet / 274 meters of climb. The route begins with a steady climb up fields and tracks to High Bradley, followed by a steeper ascent to the top of Bradley moor. Senior and junior routes are used; the Under 12 route includes an extra lap of the second field on the way to the turn before returning, and the Under 9s run to the second gate.
