The Big Pilgrimage

Southampton, United Kingdom • 18 Aug 2024

The Big Pilgrimage is a trail run event that follows the start of a newly discovered Pilgrim Trail called ‘The Old Way’ from Southampton to Canterbury. The trail offers beautiful coastal and countryside views, fully marked courses, well-stocked aid stations, and a bespoke finishers medal. The run starts at Mayflower Park, Southampton, and finishes at Titchfield Abbey for the 15-mile event, and at historic Fort Nelson atop Portsdown Hill for the marathon and 54K Ultra events.

Participants will pass fabulous pilgrimage landmarks and collect stickers at each one to create a collectable race number. The event takes place on Sunday, 18th August 2024, with different start times for each distance. Transport to the start is available, and there are cut-off times for each distance.
