Yorkshireman Off Road Full/Half Marathon

The Yorkshireman Off Road Marathon is an annual off-road event organised by Keighley and Craven Athletics Club in Bronte Country. The 33rd running is scheduled for Sunday 13 September 2026 and features both a full and a half marathon.

Distances

  • Full Marathon: 26.2 miles, 3065 ft ascent
  • Half Marathon: 14.8 miles, 1750 ft ascent

Both races are held under Fell Runners Association rules; mandatory kit is required for competitors. The event uses chip timing with live updates at feed stations and the finish. Feed stations are positioned on each course (half at 8.2 and 12.3 miles; full at 8.2, 15.3, 18.4, 21.7 and 23.9 miles) and are stocked with water, squash, cola, fruit, chocolate, jelly babies and some savoury items; additional items are provided at later marathon stations and may include salted potatoes, crisps and fruitcake.

Entry details for 2026 included an early price of £22 and a later price of £26.50, an FRA member discount and an under‑25 discount; clothing options were offered at extra cost. The event has offered early starts and generous cut off times, applied strictly. Reccy runs, GPX files, route videos and printed route maps are made available ahead of the race. A pairs category is offered in the full marathon and awards are given for category winners. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
