Piethorne 10K

The Piethorne 10K is a circular trail race around Piethorne and Ogden Reservoirs that also touches the edge of Hollingworth Lake. The route crosses the M62 both over and under and includes many twists, turns, climbs and descents.

The distance is 10 km (6.2 miles) with approximately 275 metres (900 ft) of ascent. The event is scheduled for Sunday 16th August 2026 and is based at the Bulls Head, Lane Bottom, Newhey, Rochdale OL16 3TD. The minimum age for runners is 16.

Entry fees are listed as £14 with a £2 supplement for non affiliated runners. Entries on the day are allowed at £20. The race is run under Fell Runners Association rules and is included in the Trail Running Association.
