The King’s Challenge is a 6-mile fell running race held in Silsden, West Yorkshire, organized by Wharfedale Harriers. The course features a 1,175 ft ascent, starting from the bottom rugby pitch in the park behind the Kings Arms pub. Runners ascend through Swartha and Silsden Nab End, then traverse the moor to the trig point at Long Ridge End before returning via the same route to finish under the bandstand opposite the Kings Arms. The event has a 40-minute cutoff at the top of the Nab. It is open to seniors over 16, with a £5 entry fee, and offers a challenging moorland route with scenic views.
