The King’s Challenge is a 6-mile fell race held in Silsden, West Yorkshire, organized by Wharfedale Harriers. The course features a 1,175 ft ascent, starting from the bottom rugby pitch in the park behind the Kings Arms and finishing under the bandstand opposite the pub. Runners ascend through Swartha and Silsden Nab End, then traverse the moor to a trig point at Long Ridge End before returning by the same route. There is a 40-minute cutoff at the top of the Nab. The event is for seniors over 16, with a £5 entry fee, and offers a challenging yet scenic route combining park, moorland, and trail running.
