The PieAthlon 2025 takes place on Saturday 20 December 2025 at The Dusty Miller Pub, 2 Gilead Road, Huddersfield, HD3 4XH. The event is organised by the 25th Salendine Nook Scout Group in collaboration with The Dusty Miller. Entry opened 9 August 2025 and closes 5 December 2025. The entry fee is £20.00 and entries listed so far number 64. Minimum age is 14 or older. Medals are presented to all entrants and prizes are awarded for 1st, 2nd and 3rd, 1st Lady, 1st Junior and Best Fancy Dress. Fancy dress is encouraged.

Course and facilities

The event combines a 6 km trail run with pie tasting at three pie stations along the route. The route is mainly off-road and includes varied terrain and a feature described as the "bog of doom". The race starts and finishes at The Dusty Miller Pub in Longwood. Parking near the start is very limited; limited parking is available on Longwood Edge Road. Baggage can be left at the start and will be stored in The Dusty Miller; there are no showering facilities. The route can be muddy and a change of clothes may be required. Well behaved dogs are welcome but must be under the owner’s control. Under 18s need consent from a parent or guardian or must be accompanied by an appropriate adult.
