Event

East Pennine Orienteering Club will hold a night orienteering event at Oakwell Hall country park on Saturday 20th December as part of the YHOA Night League. The site includes woods and parkland, an extensive path network and some steeper slopes. At the centre is the Grade 1 listed Elizabethan manor house and formal gardens. An indoor base will be adjacent to parking and the Miss Molly Moo cafe will offer hot drinks for purchase.

  • Long - 4.0 km (TD5). Entry limit: 35
  • Medium - 3.1 km (TD4). Entry limit: 26
  • Short - 2.0 km (TD3). Entry limit: 10
  • Very Short - 1.1 km (TD3). Entry limit: 4

Entries close on 14th December. Entry on the day may be available subject to map numbers. Car sharing is available.

Fees and other information

Standard fees apply from 20th November and higher late fees apply from 14th December. Dibber (chip) hire is available for a small fee. Juniors are defined as under 21 on 31st December; a young adult fee is available with a discount code. Newcomers are advised to use a good headtorch and to choose one of the shorter courses.
