The Stan Bradshaw Pendle Round

The Stan Bradshaw Pendle Round is an annual fell race held at Barley Village Hall in Lancashire on Saturday 7 March 2026. The course is a category BM fell race of about 15 km with roughly 543 m of ascent and uses mapped checkpoints across Pendle, with the start and finish outside Barley Village Hall.

A downloadable map of the route has been published on the organising club's website from 2023 onward. The 2026 route is expected to match the 2025 route. The event is held under UK Athletics rules and is registered with the Fell Runners Association. Entry is available by pre-entry and on-the-day, subject to a field limit of 300; pre-entry fees and on-the-day fees differ for FRA members and non-members. Entries close on 21 February 2025 for pre-entry.

Results are published online first and then on the FRA and the club websites. Course records on the current finish route are 1:01:55 for men (2025) and 1:10:08 for women (2023); earlier times exist for the traditional route. Perpetual trophies are held by the first man, first woman and first under-23 for eleven months, and vouchers are awarded across several age categories. Refreshments are offered in the village hall before and after the race. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
