Saddleworth Res's is an off-road trail event on Saturday 7 March 2026 around Saddleworth Moor. The event is based at Saddleworth Rangers Rugby Club, Greenfield, Oldham, OL3 7LD. Entrants must navigate unmarked routes and visit all checkpoints in the correct order. Open Tracking will provide live tracking and timing for the event. Routes visit local reservoirs and include a mixture of paved paths, tracks, boulder fields and boggy terrain. GPS devices are allowed. Under TRA rules no dogs are permitted.

Minimum ages are 17 for the 5 Res's, 18 for the 10 Res's, and 20 for the 15 Res's. Entry fees listed are £35 (5 Res's), £42 (10 Res's), and £52 (15 Res's) with a £2 discount for FRA/LDWA/TRA members; an optional A3 map is £4. Entries open 1 April 2025 and close 22 February 2026; there were 81 participants entered at the time shown. Maps and GPX files are available for the routes and maps can be reserved until the Wednesday before the event.

The event provides staffed checkpoints (some indoor), food and drink at support points, a post-event meal, venue facilities, medical and mountain rescue cover, and the option to buy a technical T-shirt. Mandatory kit requirements are specified and include waterproofs, spare warm layers, map and compass, first aid items, survival bag, extra food and water, and a headtorch (not required on the 5 Res's).
