Saddleworth Res's is a set of trail races run from Saddleworth Cricket Club in Friezland, Greenfield, Oldham. The routes cross high moorlands and valleys and visit local reservoirs. Terrain includes paved paths, tracks, boulder fields, stream crossings and areas of boggy ground.

The event date listed is Saturday 7 March 2026. Entry fees are shown as £35 for the 5 Res's, £42 for the 10 Res's and £52 for the 15 Res's. Fees include refreshments, Open Tracking timing, professional medical and rescue cover and a post event meal. There is a volunteer marshal option with race credit offered for future events.

Route notes: the 5 Res's route passes the Dovestones reservoirs and a notable boulder field before Rimmons Clough, with two checkpoints and the final checkpoint indoors. The 10 Res's route features bogs, stream crossings and multiple boulder fields with food at checkpoints. The 15 Res's route extends north past Castleshaw and Marsden, follows the 10 Res's line over Black Hill and Toolyshaw Moor, and includes a final climb to Laddow Rocks before returning to the venue. Trunce 3 at Oxspring Playing Field on Mon 11 May 2026 offers a scenic but hilly 6.2 km senior race with 190 m of climb in the Peak District. Entry on the day is £3 with a 3 km over 10 junior race included, part of an eight race series.

Run the Jack Bloor Race in Ilkley on 12 May 2026, a scenic 8.4 km challenge with 350 m of climbing through the York Dales. Entry on the day, teams welcome, small fee and all proceeds support the Jack Bloor Memorial Fund.

Experience a scenic 5 mile multi terrain race through the historic Woodbank and Vernon Parks. This chip timed event features undulating trails alongside the Goyt Valley and finishes in the iconic Woodbank Stadium.

A fell race from Errwood Reservoir up the Stakeside path to the summit of Shining Tor and along the ridge to Pym's Chair, marshalled by Buxton Mountain Rescue with registration at Errwood Sailing Club. Entry fee is £12.
