The Eccles Pike Fell Race is a short, out-and-back fell race from Buxworth to the top of Eccles Pike and back. The race dates back to the 19th century and is held on the second Wednesday in August; in 2026 it is scheduled for Wednesday 12 August. The currently measured course is 3.4 miles (5.4 km) with about 1001 ft (305 m) of climb.

Race headquarters is at Bugsworth War Memorial Club (SK23 7NJ). Race numbers are issued on the night. Prizes are offered separately for female and male finishers: 1st, 2nd and 3rd overall, and first in age categories V40, V45, V50, V55, V60, V65 and V70.

The current course records for the post-2009 course are 21:28 (2024) and 23:32 (2024). The all-time record on any course is 18:14 (1980). A route map is provided by the organisers and results are archived, with records listed back to 1995.
