The Cordwell Colossus

The Cordwell Colossus is a challenging 20-mile summer trail run held in North Derbyshire, near the eastern edge of the Peak District. The route loops through the scenic Cordwell Valley and briefly into the neighboring Linacre Valley, featuring 840 meters of ascent over hilly farmland, woodlands, and rural trails. Starting from Holmesfield Village Hall, runners navigate a mix of runnable trails, lanes, and single tracks with marked sections and available GPX files. The event includes two well-stocked checkpoints and refreshments at the finish.
