The Belper Rover 2026
The Belper Rover is a scenic, chipped and fully signposted circular fell race of 30 km that follows footpaths, bridleways and public roads. The route passes along ancient Roman roads, farmland, areas of ancient woodland and parts of the Midshires Way.
The course is hilly and takes place on trail surfaces. It is open to both walkers and runners but is not suitable for wheelchair users or dogs because of narrow paths. Parking at the event location is limited.
Key event details include a maximum of 300 entrants, a minimum age of 18 years, and entries closing on 20/08/2026. Transfers are permitted under the organiser’s terms. There are no refunds and no deferrals. The event is staged under UKA rules and earphones are not permitted during the race.
All finishers receive a medal and a memento. The event base is Belper Meadows Sports Club, Bridge Street, Belper, DE56 1BA. Entry fees are listed as Affiliated £28.00 and Unattached £30.00. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
