The Belper Rover 2026

The Belper Rover is a 30 km chipped and fully signposted circular fell race held on footpaths, bridleways and public roads. The route combines historic and rural features rather than road-only sections.

The course incorporates ancient Roman roads, farmland, ancient woodland and parts of the Midshires Way. The route is laid out as a circular course and includes narrow paths in places.

The event is open to walkers and runners. It is not suitable for wheelchair users or dogs because of narrow sections of path.

Practical details: the venue is Belper Meadows Sports Club, Bridge Street, Belper, DE56 1BA. Maximum entrants are 300 and the minimum age is 18 years. Entries close on 20 August 2026. Transfers are permitted up to 8 August. There are no refunds and no deferrals. The event is staged under UKA rules and earphones are not permitted. Parking is limited.
