Cromwell Bottom-Rock up n' Run

The Cromwell Bottom-Rock up n' Run is a summer pop-up event located at the Cromwell Bottom Nature Reserve in Brighouse. Part of a seasonal series, the event offers two distinct distances for participants:

  • 5 km
  • 10 km

The course utilizes the canal towpath, featuring an out-and-back layout. For those participating in the longer distance, the route involves a double out-and-back format along the trail. The event is open to participants aged 16 and over.

Registration is flexible, as runners have the option to pay online in advance or pay on the day of the race. The venue provides free car parking at the Cromwell Bottom Nature Reserve for all attendees.

Every participant receives several items upon completion of their run. These include a jumble medal, a sweetie bag, and access to a selection of refreshments. The post-race provisions feature hot food and a choice of beer or a soft drink. The event is characterized by its informal "rock up and run" approach, allowing for on-site registration.
