Harriers v Cyclists Fell Race 2026
This event is a team competition between runners and cyclists in the Bingley area. Teams score from the first ten finishers in each category, and the winning team holds the Fisherman Trophy for one year; the trophy is named after The Fisherman Inn near the start.
The course starts from Milner Field and goes along the canal east from The Fisherman Inn and across a bridge, finishing on Baildon moor. The route distance is 8.3 km / 5.3 miles with a climb of 288 m / 945 ft. There is a mandatory cut-off at the outward crossing of Glen Road; competitors must not proceed past that point if they arrive after the cut-off time for safety reasons so that marshals can be off the moor before darkness.
Registration, number collection and parking take place at Bradford and Bingley Rugby Club. Parking at the rugby club is charged at £2 cash only. Entry is by pre-entry only and the entry fee is £10. Presentation and post-race food are scheduled at the rugby club after the race.
The organiser states that the race is not an official Fell Runners Association event and is insured separately. Electrically powered bikes are not permitted. Entry conditions note that participants accept the risks of fell running and cyclocross, are responsible for their own fitness and equipment, and consent to publication of name, club, category, number, finishing time and position in pre-entry and results lists.
