Gods Own BYU Fall

Gods Own BYU Fall is a Backyard Ultra format race held at Hunters Greave, Pollard Lane, Hawksworth, Leeds (LS5 3BF) on 14 November 2026. Competitors run a repeated loop of 4.167 miles and must complete each loop within the hour to continue. Runners set off on the hour every hour; if a runner fails to complete a loop within the hour they are recorded as a DNF. The event continues until one competitor completes a lap alone and is crowned the champion.

The course includes canal towpath, farmland trail, woodland trail and tarmac paths, with elevation gain on each lap. A night variant of the lap uses a tarmac canal towpath to avoid crossing the canal in the dark. Participants are required to wear appropriate clothing for the conditions and should carry a headtorch and spare batteries for night running.

Event facilities at the venue include camping, toilets, first aid cover, hot and cold water, fruit and sweets, and aid at the start/finish area. The route is fully waymarked and marshalled. All participants receive a Yorkshire goodie bag; t-shirts and hoodies are available during the event. The event is part of the Backyard Ultra Series and can provide a pathway to Big Dog's Backyard Ultra through the BYU Championship.

Entrants must be 18 or older. Entry is currently full and no new entries can be made. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
