Ultra X England

Ultra X England is an annual event held in September within the Peak District National Park, based from the village of Edale. It offers trail races for runners and walkers across six distances: 110km, 110km in two days, 60km, 50km, 25km, and 12km.

A fully stocked aid station is located approximately every 10km along the course. A camping spot at Newfold Farm is included with the two-stage 110km race. For other distances, camping is an optional purchase. The event is a UTMB Index Race for the 100km, 50km, and 25km categories. Participants under the age of 23 can enter for free across all distances.

The event is part of the "Great British Slam" award, which recognises those who complete Ultra X Scotland, Wales, and England within a single calendar year.

What's Included

All race entries include a fully marked course, medical support, ground assistance, a finisher's medal, and drinking water with snacks at checkpoints. The two-stage 110km race also includes a camping spot and a pasta party meal. GPS trackers are provided for the 110km single-stage event. Experience a 50 km trail loop through the scenic Peak District starting from Hayfield. This self-navigating ultra marathon follows the Pennine Way and Limestone Way, offering 1840 metres of ascent for all experience levels.

Choose your challenge at WODland Endurorun, a trail run on a scenic 5 km loop in Holme Styes Wood. Options range from a simple 5 km to a 6 hour team relay. Everyone runs the same course and receives a finisher's medal.

A 34 km loop through the scenic White Peak area visiting historic villages and Chatsworth Park. This volunteer run event features 825 meters of ascent and concludes with stunning views along the gritstone edges.
