Welsh 3000's Ultra Run

The Welsh 3000's Ultra Run is a guided mountain run over the 15 Welsh peaks above 3,000 ft in the heart of Snowdonia, North Wales. The route includes the Carneddau, the Glyderau and the Snowdon range with the traverse of Crib Goch.

The Welsh 3,000s comprise 15 mountains over 3,000 ft and cover approximately 30 miles (50 km) with about 4,000 m of total ascent. The event is not a race and is presented as a guided mountain run that removes the need for participants to manage navigation and complex logistics.

Organisers state the run is led by experienced trail runners who hold British Mountain Leader and British Athletics qualifications. Transport to the start, a mountain guide and a support vehicle are included in the event price. Premium food stations with a selection of hot and cold options are provided along the route.

The scheduled event date is 12 September 2026. Booking opens 4 July 2025 and closes 4 September 2026. The minimum age for participants is 18. The published booking fee is £170. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
