Welsh 3000's Ultra Run
The event is a guided mountain run across the 15 Welsh peaks over 3,000 ft, traversing the Snowdon range, the Carneddau and the Glyderau including the Crib Goch traverse. The route covers approximately 30 miles (50 km) with about 4,000 m of total ascent. The organiser describes the day as a guided experience rather than a race.
Guides hold British Mountain Leader and British Athletics qualifications and the event includes transport to the start, a mountain guide and a support vehicle.
