Welsh 3000's Ultra Run
The Welsh 3000's Ultra Run is a guided mountain run over the 15 Welsh 3,000 ft peaks in the heart of Snowdonia in North Wales. The route crosses the Snowdon range, the Carneddau and the Glyderau and includes the traverse of Crib Goch.
The itinerary covers approximately 30 miles (50 km) with about 4,000 m of total ascent. The event is led by trail runners who hold British Mountain Leader and British Athletics qualifications and is organised as a guided outing rather than a race. Transport to the start, a mountain guide and a support vehicle are included in the price.
Participants can expect premium food stations offering hot and cold options along the route. The organiser sets a minimum age of 18 years. The stated booking fee is £170.00 and bookings open and close on the dates published by the organiser. An event cancellation and refund policy applies, and an optional XCover purchase is offered to allow possible refunds for unforeseen circumstances.
The run is described as suitable for runners with previous marathon experience. The format aims to remove navigation and logistics from participants by providing guided support and on-course provisions. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
