Welsh 3000's Ultra Run

A guided mountain run over the 15 Welsh peaks above 3,000 ft in the heart of Snowdonia, North Wales. The route crosses the Carneddau, the Glyderau and the Snowdon range and includes the traverse of Crib Goch. The event takes place on 12 September 2026 and is organised by Adventure Awaits.

Key route measures:

  • Approximately 30 miles (50 km) total distance
  • About 4,000 m total ascent

The event is a guided outing rather than a race. Runs are led by experienced trail runners who hold British Mountain Leader and British Athletics qualifications. Transport to the start, a mountain guide and a support vehicle are included in the price. Premium food stations provide a selection of hot and cold food during the day. The organiser recommends participants have prior experience of marathon distance running. Minimum age for competitors is 18.

Bookings open on 4 July 2025 and close on 4 September 2026. The stated booking fee is £170. The event offers an option to purchase XCover insurance for potential refunds under specified circumstances. Terms, cancellation and refund conditions apply as set by the organiser.
