Welsh 3000s Ultra Run

The Welsh 3000s Ultra Run is a guided mountain run on 12 September 2026 in Snowdonia in North Wales. The route crosses the 15 Welsh 3,000 ft peaks and covers the Carneddau, the Glyderau and the Snowdon range, including the Crib Goch traverse.

The course is approximately 30 miles (50 km) with about 4,000 m of total ascent. The event is described as guided running rather than a race and is intended for participants aged 18 or older.

Guides hold British Mountain Leader and British Athletics qualifications and the entry price includes transport to the start, a mountain guide and a support vehicle. Premium food stations are provided with a selection of hot and cold food throughout the route. Bookings open on 4 July 2025 and close on 4 September 2026, with a booking fee of £170. The event offers the option to purchase XCover which may allow a refund in certain unforeseen circumstances.

The presentation emphasises logistical support and guided navigation across a continuous mountain route, with specific route distance and ascent given as the primary measures of the challenge. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
