Welsh 3000's Ultra Run

The Welsh 3000's Ultra Run is a guided mountain run taking place in Snowdonia, North Wales, on Saturday 12 September 2026. The route covers the 15 Welsh 3,000 ft peaks across the Carneddau, the Glyderau and the Snowdon range, and includes the traverse of Crib Goch.

The course covers approximately 30 miles (50 km) with about 4,000 m of total ascent. It is led by experienced trail runners who hold British Mountain Leader and British Athletics qualifications. The event is presented as a guided mountain run rather than a race. Transport to the start, a mountain guide and a support vehicle are included in the price. Premium food stations will offer a selection of hot and cold food along the route.

Bookings open 4 July 2025 and close 4 September 2026. The stated booking fee is £170. The event has a minimum age limit of 18 or older. The organiser named in event information is Adventure Awaits.

The organisers describe the route as a demanding day in the mountains and note that it can be undertaken by a determined runner who has previously completed marathon distance. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
