Ras Cnicht is a hill race held near Croesor, close to Porthmadog in Gwynedd (LL48 6SR, grid ref GR 631447). The course covers approximately 7.2 km / 4.5 mi with about 564 m / 1850 ft of ascent. The route is partially marked and requires navigational skills and prior fell running experience; local knowledge is beneficial for safe participation.

The event sets a minimum age of over 16 and allows team entries at no extra charge. Entry is available on the day only for a fee of £5. Competitors should note that a special race car park is used and the Snowdonia Park car park must not be used.

Recorded best times on the course include a male record of 32:32 set in 1994 and a female record of 37:45 set in 1988. The event is insured by the Welsh Fell Runners Association. Safety information highlights the need for appropriate equipment and navigation ability due to partial marking and the nature of the terrain.

A 102 km mountain course from Barmouth to Llandegla with 4663 m of ascent; navigation and significant experience are required, entries are limited and vetted, and a support car is mandatory.

A short fell race at Padarn Lake Hotel in Llanberis covering 3.1 km with 192 m of climb. It is a warm-down for the Joe Brown/Caernarfon Tyres Midweek Series and follows the North Wales Mid Week Series schedule.

A fell race of 8.7 km with 700 m ascent around Moel Siabod, partially marked and requiring navigation. Entry on the day is £5 and junior races are included as part of the Capel Curig Village Festival.

A coastal trail event from Glan Y Don Beach to Tŷ Newydd Campsite covering around 50 km of beaches, trails, woodlands and fields with about 1,000 m of ascent. Entry includes a T shirt, finisher medal and event support.
