The Welsh 3000 Challenge (14 Peaks) is a guided mountain challenge in Snowdonia, based at Capel Curig, taking place on Saturday 18 July 2026. The route visits the 14 peaks officially recognised as over 3000 ft, with highlights including Snowdon, the Crib Goch ridge, the Glyders and Tryfan, and the Carneddau range. The total route is about 50 km with close to 4000 m of ascent. The Crib Goch ridge section will only be attempted in good weather and may be avoided by participants who prefer not to do it.

Entry opens 30 July 2025 and closes 12 July 2026. Entry fees listed are £299 for the 20hr challenge and £399 for the 2 day challenge; an instalment option splits payment into two 50% instalments, with the second instalment payable by 23/05/26. Places are limited because of terrain and supervision requirements.
The event provides low ratio guiding (1:4) by qualified Mountain Leaders and Mountaineering Instructors; run leaders are experienced ultramarathon runners. Support includes food and drink at three key locations and at road crossing checkpoints, a support team following the route, navigation guidance, and transport back to the start.
