Yr Wyddfa Ultra 100

The Yr Wyddfa Ultra 100 is a long distance, self navigation ultramarathon held in Snowdonia Eryri National Park. The course covers approximately 102 miles with about 5172 m of elevation and includes 11 checkpoints that provide refreshments and medical cover. Live online GPS tracking is used to follow runners via GB Race Tracker. The event has 150 places and a race cut off of 42 hours.

The route starts and finishes at Betws-y-Coed Village Green and passes through locations such as Beddgelert, the Nant Gwynant valley, and Blaenau Ffestiniog. Checkpoints offer drinks, snacks, hot food at indoor venues, vegetarian and vegan options, and a medic or first aider at each station. Participants must check in at every checkpoint or face disqualification.

Entry requires participants to be at least 20 years old, in good health, able to self navigate with map and compass, and to have completed an organised 50 mile ultramarathon with mountain experience. Dropbags may be left for delivery to CP6 and CP10 with a 50 litre size limit. A single pacer is permitted from CP6 and must be self sufficient and carry the mandatory kit.

Mandatory kit must be carried at all times and is subject to random checks. Buckles are awarded by finishing position with gold for the top 100, silver for 101–200 and bronze thereafter. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
