RunThrough Snowdonia Sea2Sky

The event takes place on Saturday 5 September 2026 in Eryri and uses routes that run from Barmouth beach to the summit area of Cadair Idris and back. The terrain includes coastal viewpoints, forest tracks, rocky paths, and open mountain trails, offering a mix of ascents and descents across rugged Welsh landscapes.

Distances offered include:

  • 53 km
  • 25 km
  • 12 km

All routes are waymarked using trail flags and tags, A5 arrows, and signage. Marshals are positioned at major junctions to guide and support participants, and the organiser provides a GPX file for each race so competitors can check and correct their course if needed. The entry package includes a unique themed medal, free race photos, chip-timed results, and post race goodies. An event village provides food and drink options and additional free items from partners at the finish area.

The organiser notes that trail routes can be disrupted by weather, walkers, or wildlife and that self-navigation may be necessary in some situations. The event description also mentions a discounted event t shirt available as an optional purchase during entry and a focus on sustainability in event planning.
