Event Overview

The RunThrough Snowdonia Sea2Sky takes place on 5 September 2026, offering an all-terrain trail running experience in the heart of Eryri. The event starts at Barmouth beach and leads participants through various rugged Welsh landscapes, including the summit of Cadair Idris before returning. The course terrain consists of a combination of coastal viewpoints, forest tracks, rocky paths, and open mountain trails.

Competitors can select from three different distances:

  • 53 km
  • 25 km
  • 12 km

The routes are waymarked with distance flags at every kilometre and supervised by marshals. The event includes a central event village containing various food and drink options. Participants receive a themed medal, chip-timed results, free race photography, and post-race refreshments at the finish line.

Event t-shirts are available as an optional purchase during the registration process rather than being included in the standard entry fee. The race is organized with a focus on sustainability and utilizes chip timing for accurate results.
