Rad Dau Gopa Aberystwyth Twin Peaks Race
Aberystwyth, United Kingdom • 11 Oct 2026
Senior Twin Peaks Race
This race is for participants aged 16 and over. The course is 11.7 km long with 237 m of climb. It starts and finishes at the bandstand on Aberystwyth Promenade.
The route heads south from the start and circles the harbour before tackling the first hill, Pen Dinas. The ascent begins on a gravel track, then transitions to a rocky path leading to a hillfort and monument at the summit. After a descent on grass, mud, and stone paths, runners return to the promenade and past the bandstand to face the second hill, Constitution Hill. This climb follows a rocky path that crosses the cliff railway, joining a tarmac road for the final fast descent back to the promenade and the finish.
Headphones are not permitted, though bone-conducting headphones are allowed. Bag storage is available at the race HQ, and prizes are awarded to the first three male and female runners, as well as first finishers in age categories.
Junior Ras Consti Race
This race is for ages 7-15 (under 7s must be accompanied by an adult). It offers two distances:
- Junior (11 and Under): 1.77 km
- Secondary (12 and over): 2.57 km
Both junior races also start and finish at the bandstand and include either a partial or full climb of Constitution Hill.
