Twin Peaks & Ras Consti is organised by Clwb Athletau Aberystwyth and is planned for Sunday 11 October 2026 (TBC). Race headquarters are at the Bandstand on Aberystwyth Promenade. Both races start and finish on the promenade near the bandstand and use a variety of surfaces. The promenade location provides multiple viewing points and nearby cafes and shops for refreshments.

Distances offered

  • 11.7 kilometres with 237 metres of climb (senior, age 16 and over)
  • 1.77 kilometres (junior, 11 and under)
  • 2.57 kilometres (secondary, 12 and over)

The senior course heads south, circles the harbour and includes two main climbs: Pen Dinas and Constitution Hill. The Pen Dinas ascent begins on a gravel track, becomes rocky toward the summit and descends on grass, mud and stony paths before returning to pavement. The Constitution Hill section follows a rocky path that crosses the cliff railway and finishes on a tarmac road back to the promenade. Junior races start and finish at the bandstand and include part of, or a full, climb of Constitution Hill. Under 7s must be accompanied by an adult.

Race organisation notes: registration and number pickup take place at Race HQ. On-course water is provided for seniors near the halfway point and at the start/finish for all races. Headphones are not permitted, except bone conducting devices. Informal bag storage is available at Race HQ; items are left at owner risk. First aid cover and marshals are provided. Prizes are awarded in junior age groups and senior gender and veteran categories, with a team prize format depending on entries. Results and day updates are published online.
