Twin Peaks & Ras Consti overview

The event is scheduled for Sunday 11 October 2026 (TBC) with Race HQ at the Bandstand on Aberystwyth Promenade. Both races start and finish on the promenade near the bandstand and use a variety of surfaces, including promenade, gravel track, rocky paths, grass, mud and tarmac. The route includes two main hill sections: Pen Dinas and Constitution Hill, with the Consti climb crossing the cliff railway before a tarmac descent back to the promenade. On-course views include the Ystwyth valley and a hillfort and monument at the Pen Dinas summit. Nearby cafes and shops provide food and drink options close to the finish.

Race distances and logistics

  • Senior Twin Peaks - 11.7 kilometres (7.3 miles) with 237 metres of climb.
  • Junior Ras Consti (ages 7-15) - Junior (11 and under) 1.77 kilometres (1.1 mile); Secondary (12 and over) 2.57 kilometres (1.6 miles). Under 7s must be accompanied by an adult.

Registration and race numbers are handled at Race HQ on the day. There is on-street parking and nearby car parks. Toilets are available at the Bandstand and public toilets nearby. Informal bag storage is provided at owners risk. Headphones are not permitted except bone conducting types. Water is provided for seniors near the halfway point and at the start/finish. St John Ambulance will provide first aid. Prizes are awarded for junior age groups, senior overall places, age categories and team prizes. Results will be published after the race.
