The Loop Ultra - Dolanog

This is a 32-mile (approximately 50 km) trail running event. It takes place on Saturday, 10th October 2026. The route is located in the Cambrian Mountains of Mid Wales, starting and finishing at Camp Plas near the village of Dolanog. It takes in trails, forest tracks, and ancient paths, skirting the Glyndwr Way and passing Lake Vrynwy.

The event is capped at 100 runners. The course is fully marked and has a cut-off time of 14 hours. It is a canicross-friendly event, though dogs must be kept on a lead and canicross participants are not eligible for the main trophies.

The event weekend offers on-site camping, field bell tents, and log cabins at Camp Plas, an eco-friendly site. Facilities include toilets, showers, a BBQ, a bar, live music, and fire pits. Activities like lake paddle boarding, an outdoor mobile sauna, and yoga are also mentioned.
