Brutal @ Chawton takes place on Saturday 7th March at Brick Kiln Farm and Chawton Forest. The route includes water, mud, hills and woodland. The farm section contains rough, muddy ground and large water-filled craters. The forest includes wide rides, narrow technical trails, a steep-sided valley and open cast mining holes. Car sharing is available. A canicross option is offered for runners who wish to take part with a dog.

Early bird fees from 30th October: 5 km £22.40, 10 km £24.00, canicross same rates. From 12th January standard fees: 5 km Senior £28.00 / Junior £23.00, 10 km Senior £30.00 / Junior £25.00. Juniors are under 16 on race day. Minimum ages: 5 km = 8, 10 km = 13.

Participants may withdraw up until 14:00 on the Thursday before the event; withdrawn entries are credited for future events and are not refunded. Event credits remain valid for two years.

Course rules and cut-off

There is a separate wave for canicross entrants and this wave uses a rolling start. Dogs must be kept on an appropriate running harness and remain the responsibility of their owners. A 75 minute cut-off applies to complete the first lap for competitors attempting the two-lap 10 km option. Final details are communicated to entrants prior to the event. Join the STAR Backyard Holmbury St Mary three hour trail challenge on 23 January 2026 and see how many 5 km laps you can complete around Holmbury Hill. A headtorch is required and entry includes a warm bowl of chilli or curry.

Brutal @ Bagshot serves up a muddy, hilly Army training circuit with bogs, twisting climbs and knee to waist deep water holes. The 10 km is two gruelling laps.

Take to flat, scenic trails through Alexandra Gardens beside Windsor Castle with chip timing and friendly post race goodies. Choose 10K or half marathon, enjoy well marked routes, free photos and an event village for food and drinks.

G3 no.2 brings a friendly winter race to Hound House Road, Surrey on Saturday 31 January 2026. Pick a 10 km or 15 km route and enjoy clear signage, field parking and a welcoming series atmosphere.
