This guided trail run is scheduled for Saturday 2 May 2026 and meets at West Hanger, Staple Lane, Guildford, Surrey. The route covers 30 miles and the listed entry cost is £45 per person. There is a free car park at the start/finish and the location is a short run or taxi ride from a train station.

The event is led by an experienced ultra runner, mountain leader and coach and is organised as a group run rather than a race. Participants are advised to have run at least 22 miles in training and to be able to sustain an average pace of 10 min/mile | 6 min/km on trail for prolonged periods. A full kit list will be provided. Two Salomon trail shoe models are available to test and an alcohol-free beer from Athletic Brewing Company may be offered at the end of the run, subject to availability.

The route starts and finishes at West Hanger and uses sections of the North Downs Way and the Greensand Way. The course follows the North Downs Way past Box Hill, then heads south onto the Greensand Way and west along trail sections. Key summits on the route include Leith Hill, Pitch Hill and Holmbury Hill, after which the group runs north toward Shere and returns to the start.
