The Greensand Way Ultra Run is a guided, group trail run taking place on Saturday 2 May 2026 in Guildford, Surrey. The route covers 30 miles and the advertised cost is £45 per person. The event is presented as suitable for first-time ultra runners; participants are advised to have run at least 22 miles in training and to be able to sustain an average pace of 10 min/mile | 6 min/km on trails for prolonged periods. Route and logistics
The run starts and finishes at West Hanger, Staple Lane, near Guildford. The group follows the North Downs Way past Box Hill, then moves south onto the Greensand Way and heads west. The route includes Leith Hill, Pitch Hill and Holmbury Hill, then returns north toward Shere and back to the start. There is a free car park at the start/finish and the location is a short run or taxi ride from a train station. The organiser provides guided support during the run and offers the chance to test certain trail shoe models. An alcohol-free beer may be available at the finish, subject to availability.
