Greensand Way Ultra Run

Starting and finishing at West Hanger near Guildford, this guided trail run covers 30 miles of the North Downs Way and the Greensand Way on 2 May 2026. The course follows the North Downs Way past Box Hill, then joins the Greensand Way and heads west to Leith Hill, Pitch Hill and Holmbury Hill before returning north via Shere.

The event is led by an experienced ultra runner and coach who manages the route and offers advice during the day. A full kit list will be provided. There is a free car park at the start and finish and the location is a short run or taxi ride from a nearby train station. The entry fee is £45 per person. Participants may receive an alcohol free beer at the end of the run, subject to availability. Additional event information and detailed instructions are sent to participants a few days before the run. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
