Windsor & Eton 10km - event overview

The Windsor & Eton 10km takes place on Sunday 1 March 2026 and is based at Windsor & Eton Brewery, Duke Street, Windsor SL4 1SE. The race starts and finishes close to the brewery in the Thameside park of Baths Island. Entries close on 27 February 2026 and there is a minimum age of 16.

Course, format and inclusions

The route is a multi-terrain 10 kilometre loop that uses towpaths, footpaths and some short sections of road. The course runs along the River Thames and Jubilee River and passes through Dorney and Eton Wick. The event is approximately 50% off road, with an elevation gain of 33 m and one on-course water refill station. Staggered starts are held at two minute intervals and there is a two hour cut-off time.

Every finisher receives a medal, chip timing, a Windsor & Eton 10km pint cup and a free drink (alcoholic or non-alcoholic option). The event also provides race photos, prizes, toilets and a bag drop. Trail runs nearby

Take to flat, scenic trails through Alexandra Gardens beside Windsor Castle with chip timing and friendly post race goodies. Choose 10K or half marathon, enjoy well marked routes, free photos and an event village for food and drinks.

Trail running on 31 January 2026 at Hound House Road in Surrey with 10 km and 15 km routes over hilly mixed terrain. Parking, toilets and refreshments are available; entries close 29 January 2026.

Guided 10 km trail run around the Devil's Punchbowl in Hindhead, with summer sunset runs and headtorch group night runs in darker months. Social pace, great views and the chance to try trail gear.

The Pilgrim Challenge will take place in Farnham from Saturday 7 February 2026 to Sunday 8 February 2026. You can run 66 miles.
