The event on Sat 1 AUG 2026 is based at a Guildford basecamp and uses a looped route across the North Downs and sections of the North Downs Way through Surrey countryside. Participants may walk, jog, or run and there are multiple distance options.

Support infrastructure includes covered rest stops approximately every 12.5 km with larger stops around 25 km and 50 km. Snack stops occur roughly every 12.5 km and a meal or food stop every 25 km. Hot drinks, water and energy drinks are available at all stops, with lighter options for those running and provision for dietary requirements. Rest stops provide toilets, medical areas, changing rooms, seating, and baggage pick up.

Medical and care teams include doctors, paramedics, first aiders, podiatrists and masseuses stationed at rest stops and roaming the route. A self help area at every stop supplies basic blister care items and tape.

The route is fully signed with numerous directional arrows and glow sticks for night sections. An event app offers GPS tracking, route maps, training guides and notifications. A timing system scans participants at rest stops with progress monitored by a control room. Event extras include camping options, shuttle transfers and parking. A flexible 6-hour timed run along the flat, scenic Jubilee River near Slough. Run as many laps as you like on the 5.24-mile course, with everyone receiving a finisher's medal. The route offers countryside views and a riverside path.

A seven hour timed Chasing Numbers event on 12 June 2026 in Egham with a signed lap course along the River Thames. Finishers from 3 km receive a medal and goody bag and distance pins are available for longer achievements.

A flexible Friday run along the Thames. Choose your start time and your distance, from a 5k lap to an ultra. It's a smaller event with a lower fee, but you still get one of the famous Phoenix medals.

A timed multi-lap event on a flat 5.3 km out and back towpath course along the Thames offering distances from 5 km up to ultra with flexible start times, themed ducky incentives and a large spinning medal for finishers.
