The Shere 42k Multi Terrain Event

Set in the Surrey Hills, the Shere 42k, 21k & 10k Multi Terrain Event offers three trail running options from the picturesque Shere Recreation Ground. The 10k covers woodland and rolling trails with a 123m ascent; the 21k climbs about 543m across North Downs and Ranmore; the 42k marathon lifts around 1,300m, with views from Leith Hill, Holmbury Hill, Pitch Hill, St Martha’s Hill and Newlands Corner. The course is chip-timed with clearly marked routes and marshals, finishing at the cricket pavilion near Shere village hall.
