Harting Multi-Terrain '10' is a volunteer-run, off-road race held on the South Downs National Park from War Memorial Sports Ground in South Harting. The course covers 10 miles of mixed surfaces including private lanes, gravel tracks, bridleways and footpaths, with mile markers and two water stations along the route.

All finishers receive a unique medal and are entered for spot prizes including two pairs of Hoka trainers. Trophies and cash prizes are awarded for 1st to 3rd male and female finishers and for first male and female in veteran categories V40, V50, V60 and V70. The event supports the local hospice at home charity, The Rosemary Foundation.

Venue facilities include free parking on the sports field, portable toilets in the pavilion and supervised storage for bags. Teas, cold drinks and a selection of home-made cakes are available at the pavilion. A free kids fun run for ages 4 to 14 takes place on the sports field while the main race is underway; medals are provided for all participating children.

Important entry and safety notes state that entrants must be at least 18 years old for the main race, dogs and buggies are not permitted and over or in ear headphones are not allowed though bone conduction headphones are accepted. Entrants should be capable of completing the course within 2 hours 30 minutes; runners behind schedule at the second water station may be withdrawn.
