Event

The Woldingham Full And Half Marathon takes place on 30 August 2026 at Woldingham School / Marden Park, Caterham (CR3 7YA). There are two distances:

  • 13.1 M (half marathon)
  • 26.2 M (marathon)

The half marathon is an out-and-back course; the full marathon follows the same route twice. The organiser is 1 Mile Events (Woldingham). Entry fees are shown around £43–£45. Entrants must be aged between 18 and 99 on the race date. Finishers receive a medal and a goody bag that includes a race t-shirt and additional food items.

Course

The route starts at Woldingham School and heads south along a private road toward the North Downs Way (NDW). The course uses sections of the NDW and the Vanguard Way (VGW) and includes trail paths, wooded sections, fields and road crossings. Notable points on the route include Gangers Hill, Tandridge Hill, Chalkpit Lane, Slines Oaks Road, Limpsfield Road, Plantation Lane, and the front of Woldingham Golf Club. Runners return along the same trail toward the school, finishing after approximately 13.1 miles; marathon runners complete this circuit twice. Join KNC9 at Maidstone East for a lively night street orienteering event using MapRun. Explore the town in a 60 minute score format chasing 30 controls, then unwind with fellow orienteers at the Newnham Court Inn.

Enjoy scenic trails across the South Downs from Plumpton Racecourse with 21.3 km, 12.0 km or 9 km options weaving tree lines, hilltop views and a flat finish. Chip timing, water stations and a finisher medal make it a rewarding day out.

Run a scenic 50k through the Surrey Hills on a fully signed out and back trail with food stations and live timing. Friendly for newcomers to ultras yet rewarding for seasoned trail runners.

Join the Christmas Cracker at Newlands Corner on 7 December for pantomime themed family score orienteering and colour coded Orange Green and Blue courses. Guildford Orienteers will provide festive refreshments and friendly guidance.
