Woldingham Full and Half Marathon

The Woldingham Full and Half Marathon is organised by 1 Mile Events (Woldingham) and is based at Woldingham School / Marden Park, Caterham CR3 7YA. The course is an out and back route: the half uses one lap of the route (about 13.1 miles) and the full marathon is two laps of the same course.

The route leaves the school along a private road through a green valley and follows sections of the North Downs Way and the Vanguard Way. Runners pass wooded trails, ridge-line paths and open fields, with views across Kent and Surrey and distant views toward the M25. Notable route features include Gangers Hill, the chalk pit and Chalkpit Lane, Slines Oaks Road, Limpsfield Road, High Lane, Plantation Lane, the frontage of Woldingham Golf Club, Halliloo Valley Road, Park Ley Road and a private drive returning under a railway bridge to the finish.

Terrain is mixed trail and road with rolling and steep sections and several climbs. The event provides aid stations, staffed marshal points, and post-race goody bags that include a race-spec t-shirt and a medal, plus additional snacks. Facilities noted by participants include parking, toilets and a bag-drop area. Entry for both the half and full marathon is listed at GBP 45.
