Woldingham Marathon and Half Marathon

The event offers a full marathon and a half marathon. Distances are:

  • Full: 26.2 miles (42.2 km)
  • Half: 13.1 miles (21.1 km)

The course uses a single 13.1 mile lap. Half marathon runners complete the lap once; full marathon runners complete the lap twice. The route starts and finishes at Woldingham School.

Course and route features

The route follows a mix of private road and trail. It includes sections on the North Downs Way and the Vanguard Way, wooded trail paths, open fields, steep climbs and descents, and several road crossings. Notable points on the route include Chalkpit Lane, Slines Oaks Road, Limpsfield Road, parts alongside Woldingham Golf Club, and a short section under a railway bridge near the finish. Entries are handled via Eventrac. The event is UK Athletics affiliated. Past results and event photos from previous years are available.
