Trail running at Glen of the Downs, Co. Wicklow with **8.15 km** and **4.88 km** options, mandatory Level B kit and limited parking at the Outdoor Living car park.

A 6.4 km fell race at Ponderosa café near Horseshoe Pass with 289 m of climb, partially marked route, entry £5 on the day, minimum age over 16, and no toilet facilities as the café is closed.

A short, steep fell race near Middletown on 29 July 2026 covering 2.8 km with 440 m ascent. Pre entry via SI Entries costs £7 or £10 on the day; junior races are included.

August 2026

A 50 mile event on 1 August 2026 following the Cambrian Way and Heart of Wales Line with 7,100 ft of ascent, four stocked checkpoints and no formal time limits. Route files are provided via Plotaroute.

A 10 km unmarked mountain loop in County Wicklow with 680 m ascent, mandatory Level C kit and checkpoints on three summits as part of the Leinster Championship.

A family friendly trail event at Porth Farm on 2 August 2026 with 1 mile and 5 km races, modest entry fees, and entries available online.

A multi-terrain club race on Thursday 6 August 2026 around Care & Repair, Rowley’s Drive, Shotton, covering approximately 4 miles. Pre-entry fees apply; entrants must be 17 or older and entries are limited.

Two uphill mountain races in Barravore, Wicklow: a long 6.2 km (755 m climb) and a short 4 km (490 m climb); capped at 50 entries.

A Merseystride challenge on the Offas Dyke Path in the Clwydian Hills offering 32, 24 and 16 mile routes with notable ascent and a 12.5 hour time limit.

A 4.4 km fell race from the Ragleth Inn in Little Stretton with 390 m of ascent, a clockwise course with three control points, on-the-day or pre-entry and junior up and down Callow Hill races; some proceeds go to charity.

A hill and trail endurance event on Moel Famau with 12 and 24 hour options, run on a 5.8 km loop with about 400 m ascent per lap. Camping, feed stations, electronic timing and GPS tracking support solo runners, walkers and teams.

SkyRun Eryri in Rhyd-Ddu, Eryri/Snowdonia stages four mountain races from 16 km to 55 km on 15 August 2026, with large elevation gains, aid stations and a mix of ridgelines, scrambling and technical trails.

A fully waymarked 7.70 km low carbon mountain event in Ticknock with about 330 m climb, singletrack terrain and a 4.00 km junior course; public transport is recommended.

Annual mixed terrain running event in Tywyn with multiple course options including the Rotary Challenge. The race publishes past results, offers volunteer roles and merchandise, and runs alongside the Talyllyn Railway.
