Wicklow Way Race

The Wicklow Way Race is an extreme ultra-distance running event held in County Wicklow, Ireland. Covering 127 kilometers with a challenging ascent of 3,665 meters, the race follows the scenic Wicklow Way trail from Clonegal, Carlow, through the Wicklow Hills, finishing in Marlay Park, Dublin. The course is marked only at major junctions, and runners must carry mandatory advanced-level safety gear.

Participants can race solo or with a crew, with support allowed only after the Glendalough checkpoint. The race has a strict 21-hour time limit and offers 5 ITRA points for finishers.
