The EDDUM 2026

The EDDUM is a 50-mile trail event held on 1 August 2026. The course is a loop of the Epynt Way around the Sennybridge Training Area boundary. The event starts and finishes at Noyadd Farm Camping, Builth Wells. The route has an elevation profile of 8,559 ft and is reported as roughly 90% trail and 10% road.

Route, support and requirements

There are five fully stocked checkpoints along the route. Checkpoints are described as providing snacks, fresh fruit, hot and cold drinks, seating, power banks and music. Organisers state there are no time limits and that support will be available to help participants reach the finish.

Participants must carry specified kit, including appropriate footwear, a water carrier (1 litre), a mobile phone, a headlamp or other light source, a foil blanket, a waterproof jacket and a rucksack. Entry includes a Pegasus medal, post-race care, access to the checkpoints and event crew support. The route files are available for download via Plotaroute, with updates provided by the organisers.
