Sennybridge, United Kingdom • 1 Aug 2026
Event overview
The EDDUM 2026 is a trail running event held on August 1st, 2026. The main distance is 50 miles on the Epynt Way, a permissive path that loops around the Sennybridge Training Area in Wales. The route follows the boundary of the Sennybridge Training Area, which is described as the third largest military training ground in the United Kingdom.
Route, support and logistics
The event route passes through rural and upland countryside between the Brecon Beacons and the Cambrian Mountains. Organisers state there are no time limits for completion. There are five fully manned checkpoints along the route stocked with snacks, fresh fruit, hot and cold drinks, seating, power banks and music. Dietary requirements will be accommodated if provided at registration. Entry includes a Pegasus medal, post-race care, stocked checkpoints and event crew support.
The organiser lists recommended kit: appropriate footwear (no high heels), a 1 litre water carrier, mobile phone, compass (or phone compass), headlamp or other light source, foil blanket, waterproof jacket and rucksack. Participants will receive event emails in advance (initial welcome, then communications at about six, four and two weeks before the event) and a pre-event phone check from the Race Director a few days before the event. Volunteer opportunities are available with the event crew. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
