Event Overview

The EDDUM 2026 is an ultrarunning event covering a 50-mile route around the Epynt Way. The path is described as a mostly untouched permissive path that loops around the Sennybridge Training Area (SENTA), which is the third largest military training area in the United Kingdom.

Course Details

The course is approximately 90% trail and 10% road, with a total elevation gain of 8,559 ft. It takes place in a rural area north of the Brecon Beacons and south of the Cambrian Mountains. There are four fully stocked checkpoints along the route, providing snacks, fresh fruit, drinks (hot and cold), seats, power banks, and music. Dietary requirements can be accommodated. The event does not enforce official time limits.

The start and finish location is Noyadd Farm Camping in Builth Wells.

Mandatory Kit

Runners are required to bring the following mandatory kit: appropriate footwear, a water carrier (1 litre), a mobile phone, a head lamp or other light source, a foil blanket, a waterproof jacket, a rucksack, and a "sense of adventure."

What's Included

Registration includes an "Infamous Pegasus Medal," post-race care, fully loaded checkpoints, support from event crew members, and professional event organization.

Post-Registration

After signing up, participants receive a welcome email. Further communication includes emails six weeks, four weeks, and two weeks before the event, followed by a phone call from the race director a couple of days prior to the event.
