The EDDUM 2026

The EDDUM on 1 August 2026 is a 50 miles loop around the Epynt Way that circumnavigates the Sennybridge Training Area. The route starts and finishes at Noyadd Farm Camping, Builth Wells, and follows a permissive path around the military training area boundary. The landscape sits between the Brecon Beacons to the south and the Cambrian Mountains to the north and is described as largely unspoilt countryside.

The course is predominantly off-road, with approximately 90 percent trail and 10 percent road, and an elevation profile of 8,559 ft. There are five fully stocked checkpoints along the route offering snacks, fresh fruit, hot and cold drinks, seating, power banks and music. Checkpoints can accommodate dietary requirements if these are provided in advance. The organiser does not apply time limits and provides support and staffed checkpoints for participants through the day.

Route maps and downloadable files are supplied via Plotaroute to allow for last minute updates and device-friendly formats; Plotaroute may display pop-ups and the organiser states that route files are provided free of charge. The event information lists mandatory kit including appropriate footwear, a 1 litre water carrier, mobile phone, head lamp or other light source, foil blanket, waterproof jacket and a rucksack. The organiser includes a medal and post race care with entry. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
