The EDDUM 2026

The EDDUM 2026 is a 50-mile loop race on August 1, 2026, that follows the Epynt Way around the Sennybridge Training Area. The route circles the boundary of the military training area, which is described as the third largest training ground in the United Kingdom. The course surface is mainly trail with some road sections, listed as 90% trail and 10% road, and the total elevation gain is 8,559 ft.

Practical information

The event starts and finishes at Noyadd Farm Camping, Builth Wells. There are five fully staffed and stocked checkpoints along the route offering snacks, fresh fruit, hot and cold drinks, seating, power banks and music; dietary requirements can be accommodated at the checkpoints. Organisers state there are no time limits for completion.

Mandatory kit includes appropriate footwear, a 1-litre water carrier, a mobile phone, a headlamp or other light source, a foil blanket, a waterproof jacket and a rucksack. Route files are provided via Plotaroute and can be downloaded in navigation-friendly formats. Entry includes a Pegasus medal, post-race care, access to the staffed checkpoints and event crew support.
