Moel Famau 24

Moel Famau 24 is a timed hill and trail event offering 12 hour and 24 hour options on the Clwydian Hill of Moel Famau. The course uses a mountain loop of 7.51 km with 511 m of ascent per lap. Participants may complete as many laps as they wish; there is no minimum number of laps and no course cut off. Walking only entries are accepted.

The event accepts solo runners and teams. Solo competitors may rest as needed and must use the designated solo entry and exit points so laps are recorded correctly. Team entries must ensure each registered member completes at least one lap and must use the exchange point for changes on course. If a lap is in progress when the event duration ends, the final lap is completed and the extra time is included in the result calculations.

Facilities and services located in the camp field include camping with one vehicle pitch per entry, feed stations, toilets, showers, covered rest areas, electronic timing and GPS tracking. Support crews may use the camping area but are not permitted on the running route. Finishers receive a medal and a certificate. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
