Liverpool Pretty Muddy 5k at Sefton Park

This event is a 5 km Pretty Muddy obstacle course held in Sefton Park, Liverpool. The course includes climbing, crawling and sliding across a mixture of gravel paths and grass. The route has some undulations, though these are not significant, and grass sections can become boggy in wet weather.

Sefton Park is described as a 235 acre green space with lakes, winding paths and wildlife. The start and finish lines are located on the field to the left of the Sefton Park Obelisk. Pedestrian access is available via the Obelisk entrance from Croxteth Drive, approximately 200 m from the event site.

Start times are staggered in waves every 15 minutes to manage course safety. Participants must be 13 years of age or older; separate Pretty Muddy Kids events are offered for younger children. Groups should register for the same wave time when attending together.

Facilities on site include refreshments and toilets. There is no designated event parking, drop off zone, blue badge parking, volunteer parking or electric charging. No bike racks are provided. Dogs are not allowed. The event is not suitable for wheelchairs or pushchairs.
