Scouts Honour Backyard Ultra
The Scouts Honour Backyard Ultra is a trail backyard ultra held at Hollinwood Scout Camp in Worsley, Manchester, within a working scout camp environment. Competitors run two off-road loops that pass through open fields and shaded woodland. A new loop starts every hour on the hour; completing a loop within the hour allows a runner to start the next loop. The event continues until one competitor remains.
The field is capped at 100 athletes. Prize money is awarded to the overall winner, with an additional award for anyone who exceeds the 100-mile mark. The course is described as flat and fully off road, beginning across field ground before flowing into shaded woodland trails and offering fast, runnable terrain.
Included with entry are an entry ticket and a bespoke DNF metal mug. The overall winner receives a trophy, a mug and prize money. Participants are allocated a pitch to set up a rest area and parking for one car; visitor parking is available on a first-come, first-served basis.
