Pie and Peas 5

Winsford, United Kingdom • 5 Aug 2026

Event Overview

The Pie and Peas 5 is a multi-terrain running event held in Moulton, located near Northwich in Cheshire. Organised by the Vale Royal Athletic Club, the race covers a distance of 5 miles on an undulating one-lap course. The route utilizes the same course design as in previous years, starting and finishing on the playing fields situated behind the Royal British Legion on Main Road.

The event follows a scenic route through the local landscape. Due to the nature of the terrain and course conditions, the race is not suitable for buggies or participants running with dogs. The minimum age for entry is fifteen years old on the day of the event.

Participants are eligible for various prizes across several categories. Awards are presented to the first, second, and third-place finishers for both male and female runners in the open category. Age-graded prizes are also available starting from Under-20 through to Veteran 80+ in five-year increments. Additionally, there are awards for the first team and for the first Moulton resident to finish.
